For the many of us, Karate was the first love. Many of the current champions in the UFC started with karate. In the last decades of time, however, things have changed and martial arts in general have gained a pragmatic meaning. This has made the MMA brand exceed karate in recent years. However, the karate becomes a force and due to the Karate Combat league that does a very good job, and offers a fresh and modern air.
Inspired by Karate Combat, the new International Karate Association – IKA was bild for developing a new trend to help develop new generations of karateka. It looks like a big ambition, but not far away. With the new competitive tests, we hope to offer prospects for participation in the highest level in professionals, whether it is in karate or in MMA.
There will be nothing new, but it will only adapt to the modern perception of figting Karate. Slogan Karate Ika is “The Old Karate Way in the Modern Days”
